About Minesweeper
The desktop classic, rebuilt for every screen. Reveal squares one at a time — each number tells you how many mines touch that square. Use pure deduction to flag every mine and clear the field. Three board sizes from a quick coffee-break game to a full expert grid.
How to Play
Tap a square to reveal it. The number shows how many mines are adjacent. Long-press (or right-click) to plant a flag on a suspected mine. Clear every safe square to win. First tap is always safe.
💡 Tips & Strategy
The numbers are everything: each one tells you exactly how many mines touch that square. The two patterns that solve most boards: if a number already touches that many flags, every other neighbor is safe — and if a number's remaining hidden neighbors equal its remaining mine count, they're all mines.
Learn the classic border patterns. A 1-2-1 along a wall means the mines sit on the two outside squares of the trio, so the square under the 2 is safe. A 1-2-2-1 puts mines under the two 2s. Spotting these instantly is what separates fast players.
Use chording: once a number has all its flags placed, tapping the number reveals every remaining neighbor at once. It's both faster and safer than clicking squares one by one.
Open with clicks near the middle of the board — center squares reveal bigger areas. When logic truly runs out and you must guess, prefer squares touching fewer numbered tiles, and remember corners are statistically the worst blind picks. On Hard, keep an eye on the mine counter: in the endgame, counting remaining mines against remaining tiles often turns a guess into a certainty.
