The beloved tile-matching classic. 144 beautifully stacked tiles form the traditional turtle — remove them two at a time by matching identical faces. Only free tiles (nothing on top, one side open) can be picked, so order matters more than speed. Includes hints, a stuck-detector, and emergency shuffles.
How to Play
Tap a free tile, then tap its identical twin to clear the pair. A tile is free when nothing sits on it and its left or right side is open. Clear all 144 tiles to win. Use hints and shuffles wisely!
💡 Tips & Strategy
Tiles come in exactly four copies, and that number rules every decision. When all four of a kind are free at once, clear both pairs immediately — free tiles that can wait are your safety margin. When only two of a kind are visible, check before matching them: if the other two are stacked directly on top of each other or side-locked together in the same row, that pairing order can decide the whole game.
Attack height and length first. The top of the turtle and the long middle rows lock the most tiles, so a match that peels the upper layers or shortens the long rows opens far more of the board than clearing loose corner tiles. The two end-cap tiles on the long rows are especially valuable — remove them early.
Don't match just because you can. Each move should either free new tiles or preserve options; a lazy match of two harmless outer tiles spends a pair you may desperately want later as leverage.
When several matches are available, prefer the one whose remaining copies are already visible and reachable. Save hints and your shuffles for genuine dead-ends late in the board, and before declaring yourself stuck, scan layer by layer — the free tile you missed is usually hiding in plain sight on level two.
