How to Play

Tap a card to flip it, then tap a second card. If they match, they stay open. If not, memorize them and try again. Clear the whole board in as few moves as you can.

💡 Tips & Strategy

Structure beats raw memory. Flip cards in a fixed scanning order — left to right, top to bottom — instead of hopping randomly. Your brain encodes positions far better when they arrive in a consistent sequence.

Use spatial anchoring: tie each face to its location with a quick mental phrase ('donut, top-right corner'). Verbalizing, even silently, recruits a second memory channel and makes recall dramatically more reliable on bigger grids.

Play the odds on your second flip. Early game, when you flip an unknown first card, choose another unknown as your second — worst case you've learned two positions. Mid-game the math flips: reveal an unknown first, and if you've seen its partner before, cash in the guaranteed match.

Match known pairs immediately when both positions are certain; every delay risks interference from new information. On the 6×5 grid, chunk the board into quadrants and clear one region at a time — a fully cleared corner shrinks the search space and keeps mistakes from creeping in as the board opens up. Score is moves plus time, so a steady rhythm beats frantic flipping every time.
