Squeeze 52 cards into one pile. One or three steps back, match suit or rank.
About Accordion Solitaire
All 52 cards dealt in one long line and a single goal: fold them down into one pile. A pile can jump onto the pile right before it, or the one three places back, whenever the two top cards share a suit or a rank. Each move shrinks the line and changes what matches what, so the order you squeeze in is everything. Classic Accordion is famously brutal — flip on Relaxed mode to get deals that are proven winnable, and lean on the solver-powered hint when you are cornered. Fewest piles left is your score to beat.
How to Play
Tap a card, then tap the glowing pile 1 or 3 places to its left. A move is legal when the top cards share a suit or a rank. The moving pile lands on top. Aim to finish with a single pile. Relaxed mode deals only winnable games. Undo and Hint are always there.
💡 Tips & Strategy
Don't take a move just because it's there. Each squeeze changes which cards sit one and three places apart, so before moving, check what the new neighbours will be. A move that creates two new matches beats one that creates none.
Favour three-back moves when you have a choice. They shorten the line faster and tend to leave more options behind than the one-step move.
Work from the left while it is quiet, but keep an eye on long runs of mismatched cards in the middle — those are the piles you'll end up stuck with. Use Undo liberally, and switch on Relaxed mode to learn on deals that are guaranteed to fold into one pile.
