Clear the pyramid by pairing cards that add up to 13.
About Pyramid Solitaire
A solitaire unlike any other: instead of building sequences, you dismantle a pyramid of 28 cards by removing pairs that total thirteen. Aces count as one, Jacks eleven, Queens twelve, and Kings are worth thirteen all by themselves. Only cards with nothing overlapping them are in play, so the order you clear in decides whether the pyramid falls.
How to Play
Tap two uncovered cards that add up to 13 to remove them (A=1, J=11, Q=12, K=13 alone). A card can only be used once both cards below it are gone. Draw from the stock when you are stuck — you only get a limited number of passes.
💡 Tips & Strategy
Always look at what a removal uncovers, not just the pair in front of you. Two cards that make thirteen are only worth taking if at least one of them opens a card you actually need — clearing a pair that exposes nothing useful spends cards you may be desperate for later.
Kings are free removals, so take them the moment they're exposed; they cost you no partner and always unblock whatever sits above. Beyond that, track the ranks you've already used. There are only four of each, so if three Sixes are gone, the remaining Sevens are in trouble.
Work the pyramid down evenly rather than digging one deep channel. A narrow tunnel exposes very few new cards, while clearing across the base widens your options with every pair.
Your stock passes are the real currency. Before drawing, check whether a pyramid-to-pyramid pair exists — those are always better, because they clear two blocking cards instead of one. Save your last pass for when the pyramid is thin enough that a lucky draw genuinely finishes it.
