One loop. No branches. The numbers are watching.
About Slitherlink
The Japanese loop puzzle with a cult following it has thoroughly earned. Draw a single closed loop through the grid of dots; every number counts exactly how many of its four sides the loop must use. A 0 pushes the loop away, a 3 drags it close, and two 3s side by side are practically a printed instruction. One loop, no crossings, no second loop hiding in a corner — and when the last edge clicks the whole board suddenly makes sense backwards.
How to Play
Tap an edge to cycle: line → ✕ → blank. The ✕ marks edges you’ve ruled out. Each number = how many of that cell’s four sides the loop uses. Form ONE closed loop — every dot touches exactly 0 or 2 line ends.
💡 Tips & Strategy
Learn the forced shapes: a 0 kills all four edges (cross them immediately), a 3 next to a 0 has its three lines forced, two 3s side by side share their middle edge with lines on both outer sides, and a 3 in a corner takes both corner edges.
Cross out edges as eagerly as you draw lines. Every dot allows 0 or 2 line ends, so two crosses at a dot forbid the rest, and a dot with two lines is closed — cross its other edges.
Late game, watch the loop's parity: if joining two ends would close a loop that leaves numbers unsatisfied outside it, that connection is wrong. The single-loop rule is a clue, not just a win condition.
