About Backgammon
One of the oldest board games in existence, blending luck and deep tactics. Roll the dice, move your checkers around the board toward home, and bear them all off before your opponent. Land alone and you can be hit and sent back to the bar; build blockades and time your hits to control the race.
How to Play
Roll the dice and move two checkers (or one twice), each by one die's value.\nLand on a lone enemy checker to send it to the bar; it must re-enter before they do anything else.\nGet all fifteen checkers into your home board, then bear them all off first to win.
💡 Tips & Strategy
Make your points -- two checkers on a spot can\'t be hit and block the enemy. A wall of made points in your home board is devastating.
Don\'t leave lone blots within direct dice range of an enemy checker unless the gain is worth the risk.
Early on, split your back checkers and build your bar-point and 5-point -- they\'re the most valuable real estate.
When you\'re ahead in the race, race; when behind, hold back and play for a hit. Knowing which game you\'re in is half the skill.
