About Reversi (Othello)
Also known as Othello: a game of dramatic swings. Place a disc so it traps a line of your opponent between yours, and the whole line flips to your colour. The lead ping-pongs constantly, and the corners are gold -- once taken they can never be flipped back. Whoever owns more discs when the board fills wins.
How to Play
Place a disc so it sandwiches a straight line of enemy discs between it and another of yours.\nEvery trapped disc flips to your colour. You must flip at least one, or you pass.\nMost discs when the board is full wins. Three difficulty levels.
💡 Tips & Strategy
Grab corners whenever you can -- they can never be flipped, and they anchor whole edges.
Avoid the squares diagonally next to a corner early on; playing there usually hands the corner to your opponent.
Don\'t rush to flip the most discs mid-game. Having FEWER discs early often gives you more moves later, which is the real advantage.
Think about mobility: a position where your opponent has almost no legal moves forces them to give you corners and edges.
