Mancala

The ancient seed-sowing game — capture more than the CPU.

About Mancala

One of the oldest board games on Earth, played with seeds and pits for thousands of years. Scoop the seeds from one of your pits and sow them one by one around the board. Land the last seed in your store for a free turn; land it in an empty pit on your side and you capture everything opposite. When one side runs dry the game ends — most seeds banked wins.

How to Play

Tap one of your six pits to sow its seeds counter-clockwise. Last seed in your store = go again. Last seed in your empty pit = capture the pit opposite. When one row is empty, the other player banks their remaining seeds.

💡 Tips & Strategy

Count before you sow. A pit with exactly enough seeds to land in your store gives a free turn — chain those and you can take three or four moves in a row.

Watch the capture setup: an empty pit on your side with a full CPU pit opposite is worth aiming a final seed into.

Don't leave big piles brewing opposite your empty pits — that's exactly the capture the CPU is hunting for.

The endgame flips the logic: if the CPU's row is nearly empty, hoarding seeds on your side can hand you the whole remainder when the game closes.
