Three instruments. One nervous system. No hiding from the numbers.
About Reflex Lab
Your reflexes, benchmarked. Three clinical little tests: Reaction Time — wait for the green, hit it, five trials averaged, and yes, jumping early is recorded forever. Aim Trainer — twenty targets, punished per miss, timed to the millisecond. Number Memory — a number flashes, you type it back, and it grows a digit each round until your short-term memory files a complaint. The lab keeps your bests. The lab does not flatter.
How to Play
Reaction: wait for green, then tap fast — 5 trials, average counts. Aim: hit 20 targets quickly; misses are tracked. Memory: memorise the number, type it back — one more digit each round.
💡 Tips & Strategy
Reaction: don't predict — react. Jumping early scores a penalty trial, and anticipation adds variance, not speed. Relax your hand, stare soft at the panel, and let the green pull the tap out of you. Averages reward boring consistency.
Aim: move to the NEXT target the moment your tap lands, not after you've admired the hit. Accuracy first — misses cost time twice, once for the miss and once for the re-aim.
Memory: don't hold digits, chunk them — 8-3-1-7-7-2 is '831' and '772', two items instead of six. Say the chunks in your head once, type without hesitating; the number you rehearse survives, the number you stare at doesn't.
