About Block Drop
The falling-block arcade legend, rebuilt to feel great on a phone or a keyboard. Seven classic shapes drop from the top; rotate and slide them into place and complete full rows to clear them. Clearing several lines at once pays a big bonus, and the pace rises every ten lines. A ghost outline shows exactly where your piece will land.
How to Play
Keyboard: ← → move, ↑ rotate, ↓ soft drop, Space hard drop, P pause. Touch: drag sideways to move, tap to rotate, swipe down to drop — or use the on-screen buttons. Complete rows to clear them. Four at once scores the most. Game ends when the stack reaches the top.
💡 Tips & Strategy
Keep the stack flat and leave one column open on a side for the long I-piece: a four-line clear scores 800 × level, the same as four single-line clears score 400. Waiting for the I is the classic high-scoring strategy.
Use the ghost outline. It shows exactly where a hard drop lands, so on higher levels you can commit with Space (or a downward swipe) instead of waiting for gravity and risking a mis-slide.
Rotate early, before the piece is near the stack — rotations need room, and a piece jammed against a wall may not turn where you want it.
When the stack climbs past halfway, stop hunting for perfect placements and clear anything you can. Survival keeps the level bonus coming; a hole or two is cheaper than a game over.
