About 8-Ball Pool
Proper 8-ball on green felt, against an AI that pots its share. Break, claim solids or stripes with your first pot, and clear your group before facing the 8. Aim by dragging back from the cue ball; the guide shows the line, the power is in the pull. Scratch and the AI gets ball in hand; drop the 8 early and the rack is simply gone. Practice mode for grooving your stroke, versus mode for grudges.
How to Play
Drag back from the cue ball to aim and set power; release to shoot. Pot your group — solids or stripes — then sink the 8-ball to win. Scratching gives ball in hand. The 8 before your group is done loses the rack.
💡 Tips & Strategy
Play position, not just pots. Before every shot, decide where the cue ball should stop for the NEXT ball — a pot that leaves you snookered on your own group is half a foul.
Power is for breaks. On everything else, softer shots hold the cue ball's line and keep it on the table — most scratches come from hitting a routine pot twice as hard as it needed.
Choose your group on the second visit, not the first pot: take the set with open lanes to pockets, not the one with three balls glued to rails. And treat the 8-ball lane as an investment — clearing your group while blocking its path to a pocket wins racks against any AI.
